There is no limit on the number of players in a session. A handful of friends play exactly the same way as a packed room.

You can, but you do not have to. Give the AI a topic and it proposes complete questions with answers. You edit them until they are right and pick the visuals yourself.
No. You buy a period of a month or a year and it simply runs out. Nothing is debited from your account and there is nothing to cancel. To keep going, you buy a new period.
Yes. There is one pass and you may use it commercially too, for a weekly quiz night or a company party.
